The Artistic Vision
Orchestra

The International Mozart Opera Intensive presents a fully staged production of Le Nozze di Figaro in a curated Vienna Chamber Edition, realized with the professional musicians of the United Europe Orchestra and GrandiVociConcerts.
All performances and orchestral rehearsals are presented with the professional musicians of United Europe Orchestra — experienced, actively performing instrumentalists.
Participants rehearse and perform within an authentic professional orchestral environment rather than a student ensemble, ensuring a high artistic standard throughout the production process.
This edition represents an artistic distillation of Mozart’s masterpiece. Choruses, dance sequences, and three smaller roles are omitted, while selected recitatives — studied extensively during the program — are not included in performance. The condensed format allows focused musical and dramatic refinement within an intensive production period.
Working in a double-cast format, participants engage in a rehearsal process modeled on professional opera house practice. Musical and staging rehearsals proceed in parallel, including dedicated recitative training and detailed ensemble work. The program culminates in two public performances — one for each cast — on the stage of the historic Borromäus-Saal in Vienna.
